ManyChat is the social automation platform creators use most: automatic replies to comments and DMs on Instagram, TikTok and Messenger, loved by over 1 million users. WhatsApp, however, is a secondary channel: on the Free and Essential plans it simply isn't there, and it only activates from the Pro plan up (from $29/month with annual billing). Pricing runs on 'active contacts': past your plan's threshold, overages kick in at up to $0.10 per extra contact, and the interface exists only in English, Spanish and Portuguese. When it makes sense to switch to SendApp

- AI included, trained on your content. With Agent, the AI answers on WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, email and your website widget, trained on your documents and your tone. In ManyChat, AI only arrives from Pro up and is built for social DMs.
- Support in Italian. Italian-language assistance included in the plan, not a form in English. For an Italian business it makes all the difference when WhatsApp is a sales channel.
When to stay with ManyChat
- If your business runs on Instagram and TikTok — automatic comment replies, follow-to-DM, links in DMs — ManyChat remains the most proven tool in the field, with the richest ecosystem of templates and partner agencies. In that world it's the benchmark, and the Free and Essential plans are enough as long as you don't touch WhatsApp.
