Guide/SendApp Cloud/Best practices (anti-ban)
Proper use: anti-blocking guidelines
Because SendApp Cloud uses your number via QR (not the official API), the risk of being blocked by WhatsApp is real if you use it badly. These guidelines help you stay operational: following them is the difference between a number that lasts and one that gets blocked.

Before you start
- A number connected to SendApp Cloud
Golden rule: send only to contacts who know you and expect your message, never to strangers. Use SendApp Cloud for transactional and operational messages. For high-volume mass marketing, the official API (SendApp Official) is the safe choice.
Warming up the number
| Number status | Recommended volume | Pace between messages |
|---|---|---|
| New or rarely used | 20–30 messages/day | 1 every 2–3 minutes |
| Warmed up (weeks of use) | 50–100 messages/day | 1 every 30–90 seconds |
| Very active and trusted | up to 150–200 messages/day | always with pauses and real conversations |
Best practices
- Start slow on a new number and increase volumes gradually over the weeks.
- Use random delays between messages and time windows (avoid the night).
- Personalize messages and make them useful: fewer reports, less risk.
- Distribute sends across multiple numbers if you have higher volumes.
- Respect “STOP” requests: immediately remove anyone who no longer wants to receive messages.
What to avoid
- Mass sends to purchased lists or to people who don't know you.
- Identical messages to thousands of people in a short time.
- Content that triggers blocks and reports.
If you need to do marketing at large scale, don't push SendApp Cloud: switch to the official API with SendApp Official, built for volumes and promotional content.
