Bulk SMS: campaigns via SMS
Besides WhatsApp, SendApp Official sends SMS campaigns. It's useful for reaching people who don't use WhatsApp and for short, urgent messages. It works with prepaid packages.

Before you start
- A SendApp Official account
- Available SMS credit (prepaid package)
SMS characteristics
- Sender ID
- An alphanumeric name up to 11 characters as the sender.
- Text length
- Up to about 800 characters per message.
- Prepaid packages
- You buy a package of SMS and consume it with your sends.
Send an SMS campaign

Check your SMS credit
Make sure you have an active package with sufficient credit.

Compose the message
Set the sender and text, short and clear.

Choose the recipients and send
Select the list and start the campaign.
On first use a small trial credit is usually available. Use SMS for genuinely useful messages (confirmations, reminders): it's more expensive and intrusive than a WhatsApp message.
