Quick replies
Quick replies are predefined messages recalled with a shortcut to answer recurring questions in a few keystrokes: opening hours, prices, addresses, shipping terms. On the WhatsApp Business app they are triggered by typing a slash followed by the chosen code; in API platforms they become libraries of replies shared by the whole team, with variables and categories.
The logic is reuse: you write the answers to the most frequent questions once and recall them by code, optionally personalizing them before sending. The WhatsApp Business app allows a limited number of quick replies with text shortcuts and also supports attached media. Professional inboxes add what teams need: uniform shared replies, variables that automatically insert the contact's data, organization by category.
The measurable effect is on first response time, one of the metrics that most influence conversion and satisfaction: replying in seconds instead of minutes changes the outcome of sales inquiries. Quick replies are also a consistency tool, because the team communicates prices and terms with the same approved wording. They remain manual by definition: when the same question deserves an automatic answer, you move to keywords or an AI agent.
In SendApp's inbox, repetitive work is reduced upstream: recurring questions are handled by the AI agent trained on your company content, and the human agent steps in only on cases that require judgment.
